The UKRL Spares team can track down the ‘hard to find’ components or help solve obsolete replacement component issues. In some cases, UKRL can re-engineer components or develop alternative solutions for specialist projects.
The UKRL Spares team works closely with the Engineering team to manage, solve and deliver permanent solutions to our customers’ obsolescence issues.
Traction control electronics is one area in which we specialise and our Spares and Engineering teams will work to resolve the customers’ issues. This can range from train riding to gather data, through to the redesign of systems to solve obsolescence.
